ESPERIENZE PROFESSIONALI
- Dicembre 2016 ad oggi– Attività di ricerca scientifica in ambito Biomedico presso l’Università degli Studi di Parma, Dip. di Medicina e Chirurgia, Laboratorio di Patologia Generale in qualità Tecnico di Laboratorio sperimentale. Argomenti di ricerca trattati: studio dei meccanismi molecolari coinvolti nelle risposte biologiche osservate in sistemi cellulari complessi esposti a materiali impiegati in nano-medicina e nell’implantologia odontoiatrica.
- Da luglio 2010 a dicembre 2016- Assegnista di ricerca presso il Dip. di Clinica Medica, Nefrologia e Scienze della Prevenzione (attualmente Dip. di Medicina e Chirurgia) e, successivamente, presso il Dip. di Medicina Clinica e Sperimentale collaborando allo sviluppo del progetto di ricerca “Alterazioni Endocrino-Metaboliche del tessuto adiposo che causano la Cachessia Cardiaca Congestizia” e successivamente ai progetti europei “SANOWORK” e “MARINA” (Framework Program 7 (FP7)) Projects).
ATTIVITA’ DIDATTICA
- Da marzo 2016 ad oggi – Attività didattica presso il Collegio Italiano di Osteopatia trattando argomenti patologia generale.
- Da dicembre 2013 ad oggi – Cultore della materia alle commissioni di esame in Patologia Generale per i Corsi di Laurea in Biologia ABM, Biotecnologie e di Medicina e Chirurgia.
- Da April 2009 al 2016 – Membro supplente nelle Commissioni d’esame di Patologia Generale per i Corsi di Laurea di Biotecnologie, Biologia e Fisioterapia
- Dal 2004 ad oggi- Tutoraggio per studenti iscritti al corso di laurea triennale di Biotecnologie, alla magistrale di Biotecnologie Mediche, Veterinarie e Farmaceutiche ed alla Magistrale in Biologia ed Applicazioni Biomediche finalizzate alla stesura di elaborati di tesi, comparendo più volte come Correlatore e partecipando alle Commissioni per l’esame di laurea.
FORMAZIONE
- Aprile 2009 – Titolo di Dottore di ricerca in Biologia e Patologia Molecolare conseguito presso il Dipartimento di Medicina Clinica e Sperimentale (attualmente Dip. di Medicina e Chirurgia) dell’Università di Parma. Titolo della tesi: “Novel insights on the regulation of the glutamate transporter EAAT3/EAAC1: Interaction with actin cytoskeleton and induction by retinoic acid”. Valutazione: eccellente.
- Agosto 2008 – PhD traineeship presso il dipartimento di Neuroscienze dell’Università dei Paesi Baschi (Bilbao, Spagna). Progetto di ricerca sviluppato: “The Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter-3 (EAAT3): a novel pharmacological target for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosi”
- Marzo 2004 – Laurea in Scienze Biologiche (vecchio ordinamento) conseguita presso la Sez. di Patologia Generale e Clinica del Dip. di Medicina Sperimentale dell’ Università di Parma.
